Not really a guess, but I might be mistaken regarding Windwos:

The version of Claws is 3.18.0, in the Linux realm the "-2" would be
for the package version, not for the Claws version provided by the
package, for Windows it's probably the exe installer thingy version.

It's possible to install 32 bit apps on 64 bit operating systems.

Just a guess:

Probably you installed a 32 bit application on a 64 bit operating
system.
