[Users] Messages appearing in the wrong account folder

I have four IMAP accounts in CM. I have recently noticed messages
addressed to me in one account appearing in a different account. This
followed some untidy shutdowns while installing a bit of hardware in
the computer, so I suspect a corrupt database/index. I could be wrong,
of course.

I have read through the online manual, but can't find a Troubleshooting
chapter.

How do I repair the database of messages?
