On the Yahoo side, there is no option to not save sent messages.

However, when I again sent a message using Claws, but now checked the
Yahoo side afterwards, it also displayed duplicate messages in the Sent
folder, the message list displayed a '2' indicator for the specific
message. When selected, it then displayed the basic information for
both messages. The 'raw message' information on both are
somewhat different, one contains more headers than the other, but both
displayed Claws Mail in the X-Mailer header.

I also tested this with Thunderbird (in which the individual account
settings has a setting to save sent messages - it is checked by
default), as well as an e-mail app on my Android. Neither the Android
app nor Thunderbird display duplicate messages in the Sent folder once
an e-mail was sent using either app. Although in Thunderbird, it is
displaying the duplicate messages in the Sent folder, as being sent by
Claws.
