After receiving mail, some fonts were unreadable

After selecting the folders, the fonts became readable again

What is the annoying (!) for? How can I get rid of it? From time to
time I experienced this with Claws GTK2, too. IIRC it takes hours to
find some mail, that needs to get marked as read, to get rid of it.
