            Bug ID: 4391
Summary: WISH: Provide a way to deal with attachments with same
                    name when using "Save all"
           Product: Claws Mail
           Version: 3.17.8
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P3
         Component: UI
          Assignee: users at lists.claws-mail.org
          Reporter: sombragris at gmail.com

Thanks for developing Claws Mail. Using right now 3.17.8 under Slackware 64-bit
current.

Someone sent me an email message with a large number of attachments. Problem
is, some of these attached files, despite being different from each other, have
the same file name.

I wanted to save all files to a directory but then I was asked if I wanted to
overwrite file xxx. This is because a second file had the same file name than a
first one. I had no other options more than Cancel or Skip.

I would suggest if you could devise an automatic scheme for renaming such files
in this way:

1st name occurrence: xxxx
2nd name occurrence: xxxx_1
3rd name occurrence: xxxx_2

and so on, or something similar.

Thanks in advance!
