Again can't reproduce any freeze while displaying that text based email message.

The included backtrace is incomplete due to almost all needed -debuginfo packages
not being installed, but if you always see the code being stuck somewhere deep
in libpango, that smells much like your problem may be related to specific fonts
and rendering settings.
