Hi BrainA_MN, I am also a fellow Slackware user, slackware64-current.
Outside of Slackware users I doubt may here understand the SlackBuild
you attached. A more useful attachment would be the patch it self.
There are also a two related bugs in the Claw Mail bug tracker.
