Downloaded source immediately, compiled and have been running w/o issues (both
POP3 and IMAP):

Claws Mail version 3.17.6
OpenSUSE 15.1
GTK+ 2.24.32 / GLib 2.54.3
Locale: en_US.UTF-8 (charset: UTF-8)
Operating System: Linux 4.12.14-lp151.28.52-default (x86_64)
