When I click the header in the "From" column of Claws Mail, then my
messages sort, one character at a time from left to right, like this:

a at aa
a at ab
a at ac
a at ba
a at bb
a at bc
b at aa
b at ab
b at ac
b at ba
b at bb
b at bc

When I click the "From" header again, those all get reversed, like
this:

b at bc
b at bb
b at ba
b at ac
b at ab
b at aa
a at bc
a at bb
a at ba
a at ac
a at ab
a at aa

What would you see if you did the same?
