Comparing the official package and the user package here:

https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/claws-mail/
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/claws-mail-git/

you can see the AUR package depends on python2 and pygtk, whereas as the
official package depends on python.

Since pygtk is needed for the python plugin, it seems that the official
packaging is incomplete and/or wrong.
