CM might seem to be working, but you should check your configuration.

This config version check is there because between different versions,
the meaning of individual preferences changed, so even though
Claws Mail will allow you to continue, there is subtle breakage.

Description of what changed between versions is listed on the linked
page. H. Merijn already mentioned how to check what config_version you
are on.
