Weird, the cached file related to your emails is created as empty,
whatever it's in ~/.claws-mail/avatarcache/ or in the selected fallback
directory (wavatar/ for instance).

I don't know if those cached items are supposed to be empty, I presume
not, since:

libravatar.c:226:libravatar avatar_image_render invoked
libravatar.c:190:found cached image for 9c863ae024c5140bbf1a36d8fc9898ea

** (claws-mail:541): WARNING **: 12:55:46.094: failed to load image '/home/wwp/.claws-mail/avatarcache/9c863ae024c5140bbf1a36d8fc9898ea': Couldn't recognize the image file format for file '/home/wwp/.claws-mail/avatarcache/9c863ae024c5140bbf1a36d8fc9898ea'
libravatar_federation.c:47:cached avatar url for domain claws-mail.org found: x

..and a bit later..
** (claws-mail:541): WARNING **: 12:55:47.536: could not get image

If open the avatarcache dir and sort by date, 90% of the cached items
stored since January are empty (before: none was empty). The "missing"
file is from today.

Regards,
