[Users] Automatically expanding folders

When I drag an email into a folder that contains sub-folders then
folder automatically expands to display the sub-folders after I have
released the mouse button.

Is there any way to change this behaviour to inhibit the folders
expanding? I have looked in the config file and the folder
properties but could not see anything - or have I missed something
obvious?

when sending out bulk emails: 
1. always use the BCC: field 
2. never use the TO: or CC: fields
