[Users] inbox date order

Hello
Whenever I open Claws and go to Inbox the emails listed are always shown with the oldest ones at the top - I have tried clicking date and that reverses the list but it still depicts the oldest one at the top - have also tried view/sort/ascending
There must be an easy answer -
