I would have said to use SHIFT+SPACE to move in the other direction. This is
how it should work. But then I realised that SHIFT+SPACE is broken, and has
been for over 10 years!

However, I have now pushed the fix to git, and SHIFT+SPACE is working as it
should again.

As you use debian stable, I wouldn't like to estimate when it might be
available to you, but it's in git now and will be in the next release of
Claws Mail.
