[Users] strange behavior with "AOL" account

What *happened* is that I sent another reply, got an error from gsmtp,
and my message did not seem to be sent.

But when I logged into gmail on the web, my reply had made it to my
"Sent" folder. Which shouldn't have happened.

*That* was the email to which I was replying, a very peculiar
situation, IMO. It would seem that that message didn't actually make it
to the list even though the web interface showed it in the "Sent"
bucket. WTF?

Anyway, got that password problem sorted out with gmail - I'd tried to
fix the AOL problem in the wrong account, so in fact, the password was
wrong.

And have since requested some feedback from the folks at AOL, FWIW.
