The "quick search bar" for the folder xfinity is cleared?

I suspect if you enable logging by

  Configuration > Preferences > Other > Logging > [...]

you get information in ~/.claws-mail/filtering.log.

You could take a look at all folders, sorting by number, to ensure to
see the latest stored mails.

  View > Sort > By number
