You are assuming he knows how to check if there are filters.  I
don't presume that.  Based on some of his comments, I'm not convinced he
even knows that Claws is only displaying what is on the IMAP server(s)
or that there is a difference between local and server folders or that
his answers are the result of research. But you are right in
that he should create a debug log.
