[Users] Spell checking for second language stopped working after OS update

Hi,

I have just updated from openSUSE Leap 42.3 to 15.0
and I still have aspell-bg installed just like before.

I recompiled CM but still, when I am starting a new
message I am getting:

Spell checker could not be started.
Couldn't initialize bg_BG dictionary:
(null)
Couldn't initialize bg_BG speller.

In preferences for default alternate dictionary I see
en_US (not 'bg' as it used to be when everything
worked). The only way to see bg_BG (still not 'bg') is
to install myspell-bg_BG but with it spell checking
doesn't work (all Bulgarian words are red). I try with
"Check with both dictionaries" and also with one only,
tried also swapping the order of dictionaries - no
luck. Reinstalling aspell-bg didn't help either.
Tried to use ispell without success too.

FWIW: While compiling I see a few warnings which I
don't remember seeing before the OS update. Not sure if
those are related (attached).

Any idea how to fix all that?
