Well, yes, you are. This thread is for [Bug 3944] Failing IMAP
account on startup, which has nothing to do with filtering or
deleting accounts.

If the filter rule is assigned to an Account and that Account gets
deleted, then its filter rules get removed also.
If the filter rule moves a message to an IMAP mailbox, and that IMAP
mailbox is removed, the filter rules does not get removed. Which is
messy, but the message to be moved does not get lost, it just gets
dumped into the inbox, as if unfiltered.
