There's no welcome screen in Claws Mail, you're probably seeing the
initial configuration wizard. You have to configure at least one mail
account before starting to use Claws Mail.

The wizard dialogs should be self-explaining about required info, but if
you have some doubt on what's required let us know which field are you
having problems with (a screenshot may also help).
