[Users] Newsgroup posts I delete reappear

So far, I'm only experimenting with Claws, am not using it at all for
mail, and have 
only subscribed to a handful of newsgroups.

In most of those I have deleted posts or complete threads that I am not
interested
in, and they stay gone.

But in a couple of groups where the initial fetch brought posts that
belong to just 
one thread, whenever I delete a few of those posts or that entire
thread, Claws 
seems to refetching the posts.

Is it meant to be doing so?   

Using: claws-mail-3.15.0-1-32bit.exe  on  Windows 8.1, 64bit machine
