I can confirm that using 'Edit > Quick Search' seems to do nothing. To
proof that I ran claws with --debug and no output appears when this
function is used.

However I noticed that pressing '/' always adds '/' up in the search
field. Is this the intended behavior?

For me 'rgrep -i TERM ~/.claws-mail/imapcache' is mostly a sufficient
method to search, although I value the recursive search showing the
lookup symbol next to folders with matched messages.

What I miss is a 'Search ...' entry in the context menu for folders.
Honestly I was not aware of the "Search folder" function until now.
Would be reasonable to call that one from the context menu IMHO.
(Although i don't quite get how this dialog works, because it does not
show messages with my name in the body in the current folder, which is
odd, because many people send me my name in emails as greeting and
it happens quite often that I type it myself at the end of messages).

Sven, it's good that you raised the topic, but I doubt that this thread
will lead to major ui changes. I guess the developers are quite happy
with the way claws works already.

So am I, espacially that claws does not crash anymore when connections
are lost. Whoevery fixed that leak, great work!
