Note that the PPA is not mine so I can't do anything about that, but I will
point out that as of Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus), currently in development, I
have resync'd Ubuntu's claws-mail with Debian's.

This means as soon as Debian gets a new version, it should be straight-up
imported into Ubuntu.  Things that can block this include freeze periods and
autopkgtest promotion failures.  (Aside: I see that 3.14.1-2 is still in
zesty-proposed; It's probably a build failure and I will investigate.)

The PPA may still be useful for folks on older Ubuntu releases, including 16.04
LTS.  But as I say, it's not my PPA.
