[Users] Claws and Gmail drafts issue

I tripped over yet another oddity of using claws (version 3.14.1 on
Debian jessie) with gmail.

For other accounts, I can start a draft email and leave it open. If I
close claws, claws also closes the draft. When I re-open claws, the
draft is re-opened. I use this feature to remind me to finish and send
the draft.

When I close and then re-open claws with drafts on my gmail account
open, claws does not re-open the drafts. This means that I have not
gotten reminders of several draft emails in progress.

Is there anything I can do to fix that problem?
