[Users] Courtesy features (UI improvements)

I am a user who really loves Claws Mail but only uses it sporadically, for the reason that whenever I start using it again, after some time I come across some UI features which put me off.

I always wished for the UI to be improved, and in the past I also submitted bug reports.

I am going to ask the devs a favour: the implementation to two simple UI improvements.

The first was requested in two different bug reports (refferring to the same thing):

BTW this issue seems to be found only in HTML messages (someone mentioned that it has to do with attachments).

As a courtesy, could you please implement these improvements? I think it would not take much effort.
