Ah, great - solved that one and thanks.

At present when I click on links in an email, they open in the running
instance of Firefox which is what I want. I just tried the elinks thing
as an experiment, but doesn't seem to have achieved much.

Menu View > Message part > View as text T
Menu View > Message part > Open L
