[Users] double-clicking on displayed text?

Never be surprised by how users use software (you've been doing this long

Yes, it does, but we're not talking about click and drag. We're talking
about user's expectations when they double click on a word. If a user
wants to select the whole word, it is much easier to put the mouse cursor
anywhere in the word and double click than the more precise positioning
that is needed to single click and drag.

Double click on a word, but hold the mouse down on the second click. Now
when you drag the mouse, the text is selected one full word at a time. I
use this _a lot_.
