In Claws Mail, when you elect to leave mails on the server, Claws
Mail keeps a list of UIDLs (unique identifiers) in a file
~/.claws-mail/uidl/ named [SERVER]-[EMAIL ADDRESS]. This is how it
knows what it's already got, and when to remove them from the server.
It is not possible for Claws Mail to hide messages on the server from
other clients, (including webmail).
