You will see something like this:

inc.c:1440:executing new mail notification command: play /home/claws/you_rang.wav
utils.c:3296:execute_command_line(): executing: play /home/claws/you_rang.wav
play FAIL formats: can't open input file `/home/claws/you_rang.wav': No such file or directory


This is using the standard option, not the notification plugin.
