[Users] How to place mailboxes in hidden folder

When I enter the path claws-mail removes the dir that has a . before it
eg.
/home/user/.claws-mail/Mail
becomes:
/home/user/Mail
I thought that cm purposefully did this, but it may be a bug.
I'm running version 3.13.2.
