Actually my example already runs Claws (resp. on my machine sylpheed)
by another user account. You're missing the point.
Michael wants to launch the other user account within another user's
session, so the current session still is directly accessible, there's
no need to switch between two user's sessions and just claws or
any other app is running for another user. There are reason to prefer
this approach over switching between sessions. It's even not a bad
habit. It's another way of using the computer as a tool and/or toy.
The family shares most of the session, they don't want to run their own
sessions, just sometimes they want to run something protected within the
family session.
