IIRC Abhay uses the exact setup you describe - both Claws Mail
from both Windows and Linux accessing the same rcdir and same MH
mailbox, on a filesystem accessible by both. Apart from some minor
issues (e.g. "signature_path" in account configuration obviously not
working on both OSes), I seem to remember that this setup was working
for him.

I haven't seen a post from him on this mailing list in a while, I'm not
sure he's reading it. He hangs out on our IRC channel from time to
time, though.
