[Users] Font ugliness coming in Ubuntu 16.04?

Beyond that all kinds of configurations are involved that have impact
to the font rendering. Font configs, a display and/or theme config
depending to the WM/DE and perhaps even an X and/or gtk2 config.

Two more or less equal installs (Arch Linux and Ubuntu Wily) using
"Liberation Sans Regular 12" for Claws' folder and message lists, but
the font looks different on the two installs:
