[Users] [Bug 3612] New: auto-configure sets POP=SSL & SMTP=SSL/STARTTLS

Hi,

The mailbox provider autoconfiguation file and/or DNS records is what any MUA should pick up the settings from, if your provider has set it that way .... that is (or should be) how their servers are configured. If it is incorrect, your first port of call for correcting it should be their technical support.

If I use auto configure in Claws for the mail servers I look after for our hosting clients ... ... I get the settings that I have set for auto-configuration and suprisingly enough, even Outlook gets it right. Though Mac Mail doesn't always, ... and I get a phone call from Apple users.
