No, I was mistaken. I don't know when and why there was an incomplete
copy of the MH inside the MH, but "Rebuild folder tree" isn't the
culprit. I diff with a backup and noticed the incomplete copy is old.
"Rebuild folder tree" seemingly has got no undesirable side effects.

Ralf

Hi all,

If you or your distro recently has switched to systemd controlled
gpg-agent it is important that you have this setting in ~/.bashrc
GPG_TTY=$(tty)
export GPG_TTY

Failing this may break you ability to digitally sign emails because
gpg-agent will not find valid tty in witch case you will not see a
prompt for password to unlock your keyring.

"The far most common reason for this is that the environment variable
GPG_TTY has not been set correctly. Make sure that it has been set to a real tty devce and not just to ?/dev/tty?;
i.e. ?GPG_TTY=tty? is plainly wrong; what you want is ?GPG_TTY=`tty`? ? note the back ticks. Also make sure that this environment
variable gets exported, that is you should follow up the setting with an ?export GPG_TTY? (assuming a Bourne style shell). Even
for GUI based Pinentries; you should have set GPG_TTY. See the section on installing the gpg-agent on how to do it."
