After upgrading to 3.14.0 from 3.13.2, everything has become extremely slow.
For example, it takes about 10 minutes between clicking on a folder with ~50
messages and actually be able to see and interact with the messages. (for a
folder with 500 message, it can take a few hours). Same thing when checking new
mail: the new message are received, the fetching apparently finishes but then
the popup does not go away for a long time (again, minutes or hours, depending
on how many messages are in the target folder for the messages). 
If that helps, while claws mail is stuck opening a folder, I see messages like
"opening folder XXX" or "updating cache for XXX" in the status bar.
I have no idea where to start to debug this; with 3.13.2 everything worked fine
and I didn't change anything. This is on arch linux.

On a side note, now it looks that when I delete a message, the *previous*
message gets selected instead of the followng, as it did in 3.13.2.
