For testing purpose I did it with my Linux install.
Inside my "Claws Mail (MH)", "Claws Mail" was generated, but two of the
sub directories and all their mails were completely missing and while
all the other sub directories were available, the folders have less
unread and less total mails than the originals and some are mentioned as
new, while for the original folders no mail are new at all.
I repeated it, but nothing changed.
I deleted the new parent folder "Claws Mail" and hope that the original
folder "Claws Mail (MH)" didn't change ;).
Copying should be the same as linking [1], or as simply opening Claws
after bootup.
Everything should be as expected, without the need to do anything.
And "Rebuild folder tree" only incompletely doubles the available POP
mails.
I suspect this is an option for IMAP usage and I wish I could remove it
from my menu. However, I have the impression the original "Claws Mail
(MH)" is still ok and removing the new "Claws Mail" that was build by
"Rebuild folder tree", gave me back the state it was before.
Regards,
Ralf
