Claws Mail looks for it because it was compiled with DBUS support. You
can use --disable-dbus configure option to compile it without this
support if you do not want it.

Or, if you're using a pre-packaged Claws Mail from your OS
distribution, you can convince maintainer of the Claws Mail package to
do so.
