Thanks, that's what I thought. I have, however, received an e-mail with
this text in the header:

 Content-Type: text/plain;
	charset="iso-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

Automatic did not pick it up I had to set "Character Encoding" to
iso-8859-1 to get the characters resolved. Is anything missing or
should I file a bug report?
