screenshot of claws-mail UI illustrating issue

With an IMAP folder ("Xdeals") with > 3000 messages, some of the one-line
summaries shown do not match actual messages in the folder. This is, to say the
least, disconcerting.

The attached screenshot illustrates the issue: note that the selected message
has 'DC Academic Committee' as subject and is dated 1/2/2014. However, the
message shown (after clicking on the 'DC Academic Committee' line in the
summary view) is dated 2016 and has the subject "Men's Performance...".
Clicking on other messages (only in this folder) produces similar discordant
results.

If I use mutt to open the 'Xdeals' folder, the 'DC Academic Committee' message
isn't even present in the folder (nor are a number of other messages).

I encountered this issue with version 3.13.2 (debian 3.13.2-1); the current
development (git) version exhibits the same issue.
