[Users] CM displaying wrong message content...

Morning!
I was going to raise this on IRC; but too complex for that... :)
The following may be a known/previous bug; but the only similar bug I can
find is:
Bug 1434 - Cache loses sync when mail delivered directly by procmail
However, I'm not using procmail; just CM via POP3 only (multiple
accounts). For the first time in 14 years: I have an inbox msg (18476)
that displays previous[1] inbox msg (18428) content, even after restart.
Most incoming messages get filtered immediately into other folders.
[1] All intervening numbers have been moved/deleted.
The only commonality between these 2 messages is that they contain HTML.
Since I always run 2 instances of CM, I redirected the message to an
account on the other instance, and the same issue occurs there...
Something in this message is triggering a bug that looks[2] like bug
1434 (though I haven't read that bug in its entirety); but I don't recall
seeing anything else similar on the bug tracker or list.
This message also triggers konsole messages when selecting it, either
explicitly or automatically when a newer message is deleted, making it
the currently selected one:
sys:1: Warning: Source ID * was not found when attempting to remove it
where "*" is a random number (3-7 digits (so far)).
Also seeing message(s):
** (cm:6714): WARNING **: contents differ
No idea what contents...
sys:1: GtkWarning: IA__gtk_widget_set_tooltip_text: assertion
'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
Rare; but included in case.
However, I can't match where some of these messages started relative to
when this message came in because my enhancement request is not yet
implemented:
Bug 3353 - unify date/time stamping of all console/log messages
:)
Currently running 3.12.0-116-g72f852 -- I can continue delaying upgrade
to 3.13 or test with 3.13 on yet another instance... This may be the
situation that lets y'all finally find a clue to bug 1434, so I don't
want to change anything yet -- let me know what would help...
The message is a reply from a vendor; so I can redirect it to anyone
interested...
Cheers,
Pierre
