Your patch just reverts a recent fix.

Claws now does the same thing regardless of which way you sort. Now
it always goes to the next message, no matter which way you sort.
Previously it would go the previous message if you you had newest at
the bottom, and the next message if you had newest at the top. Now it
is consistent. The only valid patch would be one that adds an option
to choose which way it goes.
