Also, if you are going up in version number, be prepared for the
possibility that you cannot copy back again, should you ever have to
revert.
E.g.: Claws on Debian 8.2 (jessie), claws is version 3.11.1-3. Debian
GNU/Linux 7.9 (wheezy) has claws 3.8.1-2, and I cannot use the data
from 3.11 on 3.8.
