[Users] Transferring to a new OS

Hello

I request your indulgence with what will seem a rather obvious question.

I am moving over to Mint soon, from Elementary. Is it sufficient --
given an existing CM installation installed from the ubuntu
repositories, with nothing customised -- to have saved my home folder
onto a USB stick to transfer onto Mint, for all my email account
settings, fonts, etc., to be remembered when I open CM in the new OS?
It's a PITA having to enter all the information about IMAP and ports and
server names manually.
