Indeed, they still are. And not only support, the patch set broke building on
Linux.

Well, testing is not the problem. I'm pretty sure there's plenty of people
wanting to use it or maybe just only a few, but somebody surely wants :-)

The support problem is to triage and fix the bugs reported against such
binaries because of that testing, specially if they're platform specific.

So far nobody has volunteered for that.
