It's been around 10y or more for me too, and IIRR i switched from Sylpheed when claws just had appeared in Debian.

It's rare to state that after 10y using a software, it's still the best choice and one of the three most capable mailers i know of (the others being mutt and gnus, but claws beats them in usability.)
