Unlikely the the mouse button only fails when using Claws and only when
using it for the mail selection window and works without a problem for
other right click menus.

Yes, when using the right click menu in the mail selection window, but
how can I delete using a shortcut?

My mistake, it's not Ctrl+Del, it's Ctrl+D that does move to the trash,
however the delete key alone does also move to trash.

Btw. I couldn't find were to disable confirmation mails for deletion,
however I won't disable it, but I thought that there might be an option
to chose between move to trash and delete for the delete key.
