I think Renaud's answer was some attempt at humor, and not real hostility
toward one (or more) developer, though I agree one smiley would have been
welcome ;)

Anyway, that doesn't help me.... I'm feeling less lonely to know that at
least one other person experienced what I'm also experiencing, and yes, I
also got some mails unduly delayed because of that.

So, if a dev. could explain me how that's done in the code, I'm willing to
cook and submit some patch... but I need an initial pointer to know where
to look at.
