IMHO, that would not be a good idea. Claws has a lot of users already
that now expects it to behave as it does. I, for instance, really like
the way it behaves by default, as I prefer having everything confined
to the one window.

All you have to do to get what you want is to highlight the message you
want and press Ctrl+Alt+N (or set the default keybinding to something
else - see the FAQ on how to do this).

An alternative would be to add a configuration option to always open
messages in a new window, but changing the way Clwas behaves is, again
IMHO, not a good idea.

I apologize if you find this blunt or rude, that is not my intention,
but getting what you want can already easily be accomplished (see
above) without affecting established users.
